  • Itinerary

    Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

    Upon your arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and he will take you to the hotel. At the hotel you will freshen up and get ready for city tour. In the afternoon you will proceed towards the Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate, Laxminarayan Temple, Qutab Minar and the lotus-shaped Baha’i Temple. After having dinner you will return to the hotel for night stay.

    Day 02: Delhi – Rishikesh

    In the morning you will be driven to Rishikesh; after breakfast at the hotel you start the tour of the holy place. Rishikesh is the start-up point for holy pilgrimage to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. The sightseeing tour includes Bharatmata Mandir; Nilkanth Mahadev; Raghunath Mandir and Triveni Ghat. Enjoy the tea at the ghats of the Ganges and feel the breeze in the evening. Later return to the hotel for night stay.

    Day 03: Rishikesh – Hardwar – Rishikesh

    On the third day of your trip you will make a day excursion to Hardwar. Your tour will begin with a visit to the holy ghat – Har-Ki-Pauri. The ghat is said to have been constructed by King Vikramaditya in the memory of his brother Bhartrihari. The other attractions at Hardwar include the temple of Chandi Devi at the top of the Neel Parvat. In the evening you will witness the “AARTI” at Har-Ki-Pauri. It is indeed a great sight to watch! Later return to Rishikesh hotel for night stay.

    Day 04: Rishikesh – Chandigarh

    In the morning you will be driven to Chandigarh after your breakfast. Upon your arrival in the beautiful city you will check-in at the hotel and relax. Chandigarh is one of the few planned cities of India; the map of the city was designed by Le Corbusier; a French architecture.

    Day 05: Chandigarh

    Chandigarh has numerous well maintained gardens, which are lush green and also have vibrant and colorful flowers. After having a traditional Punjabi breakfast you will proceed towards the Rock Garden, created by Nek Chand. The garden has been made out of waste materials collected from homes and industries. Next to Rose Garden is Sukhna Lake – a man made lake, it is one of the major tourist attractions of Chandigarh. Later, you will visit the Rose Garden, which has sixteen hundred varieties of roses followed by a visit to the Museum & Art Gallery that houses a good collection of sculptures and paintings of ancient and modern times.

    Day 06: Chandigarh – Shimla

    Early in the morning you will be driven to Shimla, the ‘Summer Retreat of the British. On your way you will witness beautiful green mountains, waterfalls etc. Upon your arrival at Shimla you will check-in at the hotel and spend some time at leisure. The other alternative could be to visit the market place or enjoy scenic beauty of Shimla. Return to the hotel for night stay.

    Day 07: Shimla

    After having breakfast at the hotel you will head towards the morning sightseeing tour of Shimla. In the tour you will visit the The Mall road, Jakhoo Hill, the highest point in Shimla which offers a panoramic view of the city, Glen forest, Chadwick Falls and Prospect Hill. Return to the hotel for night stay.

    Day 08: Shimla – Manali

    After breakfast, you will leave Shimla for Manali. En route you will cross another beautiful place- Kufri. Upon arrival at Manali, you will check-in at the hotel, freshen up and relax for some time. If you are a nature lover you can enjoy the natural beauty of place

    Day 09: Manali

    In the morning you will head towards the famous Hadimba Devi Temple also known as Hidimba Temple. It is an ancient cave temple built in the honor of Hidimba Devi. You will also visit the picturesque Tibetan Monastery, Arjun Gufa, Jagatsukh, Nehru Kund, Vashist hot water springs and temples and Rehalla Falls. At night you will return back to the hotel for night stay.

    Day 10: Manali – Dharamshala

    After your breakfast, you will be driven to Dharamshala. En route Dharamshala, you will view the beautiful Himalayas. You will make a few stopovers for tea and snacks. Upon arrival at Dharamshala, you will check in at the hotel and relax.

    Day 11: Dharamshala

    The morning sightseeing tour will include various monasteries and McLeod Ganj (the residence of the Dalai Lama). Later you will visit the stone church called St. John’s. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

    Day 12: Dharamshala – Dalhousie

    Early in the morning you will be driven to Dalhousie, another beautiful hill station in the Himalayas. On your arrival at Dalhousie, you will check-in at the hotel and spend rest of the day relaxing. Spend night at the hotel.

    Day 13: Dalhousie

    After having breakfast you will leave your hotel for pursuing independent activities. You can visit Satdhara, Dainkund, Chamba, Punjpulla, Kalatope, Chamera Lake, Pir Panjal Range and most important “mini Switzerland” – Khajjiar. Evening can be spent at the local market and at night return to the hotel for stay.

    Day 14: Dalhousie – Amritsar

    In the morning, you will be driven to Amritsar. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel and spend the night in relaxation.

    Day 15: Amritsar – Delhi

    In the morning you will go for the city tour of Amritsar. The tour will begin with Golden Temple, one of the holiest Sikh shrines. Next you will visit the Durgiana Mandir, Jallianwala Bagh memorial (built in the memory of unarmed victims massacred by the British on 13th April 1919). Later, you will be driven to the Railway Station to board a train for Delhi. Upon your arrival at Delhi you will be greeted by our representative, who will accompany you to the hotel. Spend night at the hotel.

    Day 16: Delhi Departure

    Our representative will drop you at the Delhi Airport to board a flight for your onward journey.

    Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

    Upon your arrival at the Delhi International Airport, you will be cordially greeted by our executive and escorted to your pre-booked hotel for a quick check in. Rest of the day will be at your leisure. Either relax to wear off the jetlag or go out and explore the local streets.

    Day 02: Delhi

    Post breakfast, you will head out for a full day sightseeing tour of the city. As the capital is divided into Old Delhi and New Delhi, you will be visiting the magnificent sites of both the areas. In Old Delhi, you will visit the monuments built during the Mughal reign, such as Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Purana Quila, Safdarjung Tomb and well known market of Chandni Chowk. Whereas in New Delhi, you will visit the places built during the British Raj, such as Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate, Parliament, Humayun Tomb and Qutub Minar. Later in the evening, you will be dropped back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 03: Delhi – Agra

    Early in the morning, post breakfast, you will be dropped at Delhi Railway station to board a train to Agra. On your arrival, you will be escorted to the hotel for check in. Freshen up and visit the pride of Agra as well as of India – the Taj Mahal, one of the wonders from the Seven Wonders of the World. You will also visit the Agra Fort and Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah. Later in the evening, you will be driven back to the hotel for night’s rest. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

    Day 04: Agra – Jaipur

    After a filling breakfast, you will proceed towards Jaipur – the pink city. En route, you will also visit the Fatehpur Sikri, including monuments such as Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Diwan – i – Aam, Diwan – i – Khas that are concealed within this great city. Later continue to travel to Jaipur. On your arrival, you will be ushered to the hotel for check in. Rest of the day will be at your leisure.

    Day 05: Jaipur

    Post breakfast; proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of the city. First you will visit the finest example of art and architecture – the Amber Fort. Here, submerge yourself in the brilliance of the architecture and hear a number of stories from the local tourist guides about the bravery, romance, lifestyle and sports of the times gone by. Hereafter, you will visit the other attractions of the city which include the famous Hawa Mahal, Birla Temple, City Palace, Galta Monkey Temple, Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort and Jantar Mantar Observatory. In the evening, head back to your hotel for dinner and a night’s stay.

    Day 06: Jaipur – Chhatra Sagar

    In the morning after a sumptuous breakfast, travel to the panoramic Chhatra Sagar. En route, witness the wonderful countryside with children playing the local games, females dressed in bright traditional dresses, and camels etc. On your arrival, you will be escorted to your luxurious tent, located on top of the dam, to make a check in. Spend the night in the vicinity of the oasis beneath the sky.

    Day 07: Chhatrasagar

    At Chhatrasagar you will cherish the nearby village lifestyle, their folk and culture. Interact with the local residents, go for a walk around the farmland or observe the splendid bird life. Later in the evening, head back to your tent and indulge in mouthwatering dinner of exquisite local cuisines. Overnight will be in the tent.

    Day 08: Chhatrasagar – Jodhpur

    After a hearty breakfast, you will be driven to the city of Jodhpur – also known as the Blue City, as well as the Sun City. On your arrival, you will be transferred at your pre-booked hotel for a check in. Rest of the day will be at your disposal; enjoy it at your leisure.

    Day 09: Jodhpur

    Post breakfast, you will proceed for a full day guided tour of the city. Visit the most treasured sites of Jodhpur such as, Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, the Jaswant Thada, Ghanta Ghar, Kaylana Lake and Garden, Mandore, Balsamand lake, Masooria Hill, Khinchan, Osian and many more. Later return to the hotel for a night’s stay. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

    Day 10: Jodhpur – Narlai

    In the morning after breakfast, you will travel to the village of Narlai. On your arrival, you will be transferred to make a check in at the hotel. Evening will be at your leisure. Take a little walk to the village or indulge in bird watching. Later, return to your hotel for dinner and night’s stay.

    Day 11: Narlai

    Post breakfast, you’ll head out for full day excursion to the village. Narlai, though small, has several temples of Hindus and Jains, most significant ones being the temples of Adinath and Lord Shiva. Later in the evening return to your hotel and spend the time at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel!

    Day 12: Narlai – Udaipur

    Early in the morning, after a hearty breakfast, you will leave for Udaipur – “City of Lakes” and “Venice of the east”. En route, you will visit the mighty Kumbhalgarh Fort, famous for having the second longest continuous wall after the Great Wall of China and being the birthplace of the great warrior, Maharana Pratap. Hereafter, continue your journey towards Udaipur. On arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel for check in and an overnight stay.

    Day 13: Udaipur

    After morning breakfast, you will proceed for a full day tour of Udaipur. Main attractions in this tour include the City Palace, Lake Palace, Jag Mandir, Pichola Lake, Monsoon Palace, Jagdish Temple, Fateh Sagar Lake, Saheliyon – ki – Bari and many more. Afternoon will be at your leisure. Later in the evening, explore the Old City streets and dig your teeth in delicious local cuisine. At night, head back to the hotel for dinner and night’s rest.

    Day 14: Udaipur – Delhi Departure

    You will be dropped at the Udaipur Airport on time to board a flight to Delhi. And from Delhi, you will board another flight towards your onwards destination.

    Day 02: Delhi

    After breakfast gear up for your visit of Old & New Delhi :

    OLD DELHI – A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat – the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi is one of the most visited sites in Delhi. It consists of a simple square black-marble platform that stands on the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Nearby, there are cremation sites of Jawaharlal Nehru – the first Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India. Red Fort – One of the most spectacular pieces of Mughal Architecture is the Lal Quila or the Red Fort. Built by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan between 1638 and 1648, the Red Fort has walls extending up to 2 kms. in length with the height varying from 18 mts. on the river side to 33 mts. on the city side. Chandni Chowk – a place that has a history of about 400 years. More evidences of the ancient times that once existed in old Delhi can be found out by winding through the labyrinthine lanes of Chandni Chowk in a rickshaw. The pleasure associated with the Rickshaw Ride here is ultimate. The rickshaw rides gives the passengers an opportunity to see a different prospective of Chandni Chowk, which is otherwise only regarded as one of the favourite shopping avenues of Delhi.

    NEW DELHI – An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate -was built by Edwin Lutyens to pay homage to the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I and the Afgan War. Closely looking at the walls of India Gate would let you know the names of 90,000 soldiers who died during the World War I, the Afgan War and the North-West Frontier operations. The structure was finally completed in the year 1931. India Gate was originally called the All India War Memorial., Laxmi Narayan Temple also known as Birla Temple – one of the landmarks in the nation’s capital New Delhi. It was built in the 20th century by the Birla family of industrialists known for its many other temples in India. It is modern in concept and construction. It attracts several devotees and international tourists. The presiding deity here is Lakshmi Narayan (Vishnu), Parliament House, the President’s Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. The evening is free to be spent at your leisure. Night stay in Delhi.

    Day 03: Delhi – Varanasi ( By flight )

    After breakfast transfer to airport to board the flight for Varanasi-said to be the India’s most sacred city situated on the western bank of the holy river Ganga. It is also the oldest living city in the world. As a place for devotion and worship, with hundreds of temples dotting the city , sunrise on the river front as seen from a boat can be a spiritually uplifting sight. It has a fascination uniquely its own, a quality of sublime beauty, a timeless eternal appeal. Varanasi is the city which cannot be described, only experienced. Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Evening view “Aarti” ceremony on the Ghats. Night stay in Varanasi.

    Day 04: Varanasi

    Morning boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Later excursion to Sarnath, 10kms & East of Varanasi, is the place where Buddha chose to deliver his first sermon. The celebrated Mantra, ‘Buddham Sharanam Gachhami’, owes its origin to Sarnath. On the day before his death Buddha included Sarnath along with Lumbini, Bodh Gaya and Kushinagar as the four places he thought to be sacred to his followers. It makes Sarnath one of the most venerated Buddhist places. Besides Buddhism, Sarnath is also connected with Jainism. There are many Buddhist monuments and edifices in Sarnath. Some of the important Buddhist monuments at Sarnath are the Dhamekha stupa, the Chaukhandi stupa and monasteries and temples of different schools of Buddhism from Japan, China, Thailand, Burma and others. The Indian Buddhist society called Mahabodhi Society maintains a park around the Buddha temple. The Mahabodhi Temple within the park has a tooth relic of the Buddha.There is also a vast expanse of ancient ruins at Sarnath. Several Buddhist structures were raised at Sarnath between the 3rd century BC and the 11th century AD, and today it presents the most expansive ruins amongst places on the Buddhist trail.     Day 05: Varanasi – Khajuraho ( By flight )

    After breakfast transfer to airport to board the flight for Khajuraho .Arrive Khajuraho & transfer to hotel. The legendary temples of khajuraho are an incomparable experience. Acknowledged as one of the world’s artistic wonders, these temples dedicated to the Hindu pantheon of Gods are covered in carvings that are a paean to life and love. Built within a short span of a hundred years by the Chandela Rajputs, the 10th century temples lay forgotten until they were discovered in the present century. Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures. Evening free at leisure. Night stay in Khajuraho.

    Day 06: Khajuraho

    The fascinating temples of Khajuraho, India’s unique gift of love to the world, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, were built between 950 and 1050 A.D. The divine sculptures in these temples, are a tribute to Life itself, embodying everything that is sublime and spontaneous about it. The murals depict the life and times of the Chandelas, and celebrate the erotic state of being. They not only testify to the mastery of the craftsman, but also to the extraordinary breadth of vision of the Chandela Rajputs under whose reign, these temples were constructed. The temples are grouped into three geographical divisions : western, eastern and southern. After breakfast explore the Western, eastern and southern temples of khajuraho while your guide explains the intricate meaning and legends behind each describable sculpture.

    Western Group

    Kandariya Mahadeo: This is the largest, and most typical Khajuraho temple. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it soars 31 m high. The sanctum enshrines a lingam, while the main shrine is ornately carved and depicts various gods, goddesses, apsaras (heavenly maidens) in elaborate detail.

    Chaunsat Yogini: The oldest surviving temple in the group (900 A.D.), this is the sole granite temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. Another Kali temple, which was originally dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is the Devi Jagdambe temple.

    Chitragupta Temple: Dedicated to the sun-god, Surya, this temple faces eastwards to the rising sun.

    Vishwanath Temple: The temple enshrines a three-headed image of Lord Brahma. Lions guard the northern entrance to the structure, while elephants flank the southern flight of steps that lead upto it. A Nandi bull faces the shrine.

    Lakshamana Temple: The lintel over the entrance of this temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, shows the holy trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with Goddess Lakshmi, Vishnu’s consort. The sanctum is adorned with a three-headed idol of Vishnu’s incarnations, Narasimha and Varaha.

    Matangeshwara Temple: This temple, which happens to be outside the precincts of the western group, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It boasts of an eight feet high lingam. Eastern Group

    Parsavanatha Temple: The largest in the group of three Jain temples, the Parsavanath image in this temple, was installed in 1860.

    Ghantai Temple: This Jain temple has a frieze depicting the 16 dreams of Mahavira’s mother, and a Jain goddess perched on a winged Garuda.

    Adinatha Temple: The last of the Jain temples, is dedicated to the Jain saint, Adinatha, and is gorgeously adorned with sculptures of yakshis among others.

    The three Hindu temples in this group are the Brahma temple, which has a four-faced lingam, The Vamana temple which is embellished with images of ravishing apsaras at their alluring best; and finally the Javari temple, with its ornate gateway and lavish carvings.

    Southern Group

    Duladeo Temple: Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the highlights of this temple are the sensuous images of the apsaras, and other exquisite sculptures. Chaturbhuj Temple: This temple sports a huge, elaborately carved image of Vishnu in the sanctum. Night stay in Khajuraho.

    Day 07: Khajuraho – Orchha ( By road approx approx 180kms/ 04Hrs ) Jhansi – Agra ( By Superfast train Dep. 1755Hrs Arrv. 2025Hrs )

    Morning drive to Jhansi enroute visiting Orchha – grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time, a rich legacy to the ages. In this medieval city, the hand of time has rested lightly and the palaces and temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries retain much of their pristine perfection., Continue drive to Jhansi & transfer to railway station to board the train to Agra . Arrive Agra & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Agra.

    Day 08: Agra – Jaipur ( By road approx 235kms/ 05Hrs ) enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri

    Morning at sunrise visit the magnificent Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan’s beloved wife, Also visit Agra Fort – the rusty and majestic red- sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms. After lunch drive to Jaipur – en route visit Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved Mughal city built at the height of the empire’s splendor. Arrive Jaipur & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Jaipur.

    Day 09: Jaipur

    Morning excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant Ride ascent to the fort.

    AMBER FORT PALACE – Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it’s ultimate expression. Continue sight-seeing.

    CITY PALACE – A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

    JANTAR MANTAR – This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

    HAWA MAHAL – The ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Night stay in Jaipur.

    Day 10: Jaipur – Jodhpur ( By road approx 325Kms / 07Hrs)

    Morning drive to Jodhpur -set on the edge of the world famous vast Thar Desert of Rajasthan, the sun city of Jodhpur is like a retreat in the vast desert. It is dotted with remarkable architectural brilliances including fantastic forts, elegant palaces, grand havelis, terrific temples and breathtakingly beautiful gardens.     Day 11: Jodhpur

    After a relaxed breakfast proceed for city sight seeing tour of Jodhpur visit the Mehrangarh Fort – Mehrangarh is the most major landmark of Jodhpur. One can’t imagine Jodhpur without Mehrangarh Fort. It isa living testimony of the military might of Rajputs. This mammoth fort is located on a 125 m high hill. It is 5 km long. The forts contain several elegant palaces which are also strongly capable to enchant its visitors. Moti Mahal (Pearl Palace), Janki Mahal, Royal Darbar Takht, Rang Mahal (Color Palace), Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Phool Mahal (Flower Palace), Chandan Mahal and many more are some major attractions of this mammoth Mehrangarh Fort. The majestic Mehrangarh Fort also houses a rich museum. The Tripolia is a triple gate made of marble arches. Between these two gates are eight carved toranas or archways under which the maharanas were weighed against gold and silver which was later distributed to the poor subjects.     After breakfast proceed to historic city visiting Old Delhi visiting the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, both built by emperor Shah Jahan of Taj Mahal fame, Rajghat – memorial of Mahatma Gandhi & a Rickshaw ride past through the silver street in Chandani Chowk. , later sightseeing continues to visit New Delhi include Rashtrapati Bhawan, one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India’s leading industrial families; Humayun’s Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai’s Temple, Qutub Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; Later return to hotel.

     Day 03 : Delhi – Udaipur by Air

    Early morning transfer to Airport to board flight to Udaipur.

    Upon arrival at Udaipur transfer to hotel. After fresh up and some rest visit the grand City Palace Museum and towers over the Pichola Lake. Maharana Uday Singh initiated in the construction of the palace but succeeding Maharanis’ added several palaces and structures to the complex retained a surprising uniformity to the design.

    Jagdish Temple -The exterior and the plinth are covered with base relief of alligators; elephants, horsemen and celestial musicians rise in tiers. Chanting, bells and music can be heard throughout the day.

    Sahelion-ki-Bari: The “garden of the maids of honour”, Sahelion-ki-Bari was designed and laid out early in the eighteenth century as a retreat for ladies of the royal household to spend their time in leisure. The lotus pool, fountains, lawns, flowerbeds, and marble pavilions all combine to make it a captivating place. In evening Enjoy Boat Ride on Lake Pichola. Visit the unique Jagdish Temple amidst on Lake Pichola. Transfer to hotel.

    Day 05 : Pushkar – Jaipur

    After breakfast proceed for Pushkar sightseeing. Visit Brhama Temple, Pushkar Lake after Proceed to Ajmer. (11 km from Pushkar) visiting Kishangarh Fort, , Nasiyan Jain Temple, Akbar’s Palace and the celebrated Dargah of Hazrat Moinuddin Hasan Chist in Ajmer. Later drive to Jaipur. Arrive at Jaipur check in at hotel. Over night at Jaipur.

    Today after breakfast explore the Pink City Jaipur with an excursion to Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, enjoy the experience of ride on Elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon sightseeing tour of City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum. Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen, all monuments are located in the vicinity of City Palace Complex of Jaipur. Afternoon is kept free to visit the famous Markets of Textiles, Gems, Carpets, and handicrafts. Jaipur is an ideal place for buying souvenirs. After visit to Birla Temple, Optionally at the time of dinner in evening visit to Chokhi Dhani – an ethnic 5 star resort serving Rajasthani & Continental cuisine with live music, astrology, games, folk dances and music, puppet shows in an ambiance of an ethnic village.     Day 07 : Jaipur – Agra

    After breakfast drive to Agra. In route visit Fatehpur Sikri, (37 kms from Agra), Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty –Fatehpur Sikri built in red sandstone in honor of Saint Salim Chisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Each important edifice here represents a type by itself. Notable among them is the Diwan-e-Khas entirely unique in its concept is a tall vaulted room with an intricately carved central pillar and capital supporting a platform that once held the emperor’s throne. The airy Panch Mahal a 5 storied structure rising in pyramidal fashion was probably used by the ladies of the court. Set like a jewel in a courtyard of pink sandstone is the finest building here, the marble Tomb of Salim Chisti enclosed by finely carved, lacy marble screens. The Buland Darwaza, an imposing gateway 54 m high was built to commemorate Akbar’s Aligarh the famous university town is a center of Islamic studies. Akbar built in 1492, The Tomb is combination of Muslims and Hindu Architectural styles. Continue drive to Agra. Upon arrival at Agra visit to Agra Fort, designed and built by Akbar in 1565 A.D., built with barricaded wall of red sand stone; it houses the beautiful Pearl Mosque and numerous palaces including the Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, Macchhi Bhawan, Nagina Masjid, Meena Bazar, Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, Musamman Burj where from Taj Mahal is visible in all its beauty from one side of the fort. So very ironically, Emperor Sahahjahan, prisoner of his son Aurangzeb in his old age was put in a cell from where he could gaze at the Taj Mahal at a distance, from his cell in the fort.     Early morning visit to witness one of most beautiful among the seven wonders of the world: Taj Mahal with its speculative view. At the time of sunrise. Taj Mahal, the architectural modern day wonder of the world; this monument is a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world. Taj, endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world. After visit to Pearl Mosque and the Tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Later drive to Delhi en route visit Sikandra to see the tomb of Mughal imperial Akbar. Upon arrival at Delhi check in at hotel. Rest of evening free for leisure.
